I'm super pumped. I enjoyed it last time I went in 2013 but I do not recommend attending Rolex while on crutches. It's challenging, exhausting and you miss the full experience.

I'm hoping for a rather awesome blogger meetup. Let me know if you are going to be there! Also, we are in Kentucky for a week (if we are spending most of a day travelling each way we are going to make it worthwhile) so if you have any suggestions for non-Rolex activities please feel free to share.

ReplyDeleteKeenland is awesome. There are also tons of breeding farms that do tours and I always love the actual horse park part of the KHP. As a disclaimer it has been almost eight years since I was in Kentucky so my info is dated.

ReplyDeleteI so wanted to go this year but I think I'm going to put it off for next year. While I could afford tickets and the plane trip I'd partially be going for the shopping and I just wouldn't be able to do much to enjoy that this year.

DeleteI'm still debating if I am going to make the trip this coming year. I did it this year. It's about a 4 hour drive... I'll probably decide in January as I have a friend I could stay with :)
